Victorian Silver Gilt & Enamelled Glass Scent Bottle, Circa 1890

Description

This gorgeous Victorian silver gilt enamelled blue glass scent bottle dates circa 1890. The Bristol glass body profusely decorated with enamel and gilt foliate sprays. Mounted with a stunning silver gilt screw top. The top embossed with foliate scrolls surrounding an initialled circular medallion.

The lid fitted with inner cork, the bottle therefore not requiring a stopper.

Dimensions:

Height: 10.5cm / 4 inches.

Diameter: 4.5cm / 1.6 inches.

Condition:

Very good.

No chips, no cracks.
