Pair Of 18th Century Sheraton Mahogany Former Cutlery/knife Boxes

A fine quality pair of mahogany cutlery boxes of good colour and figuring with strung edges and marquetry shell inlaid lids opening to reveal, (now) baize-lined interiors.
These interiors would originally been fitted with compartments for knives, forks, spoons etc. These have now been removed to allow for more ''multi-purpose'' storage.
