Marylebone Antiques has dated this piece to the 1930s.
It has a serpentine shaped front, four drawers with brass handles & sits on tapered spade end legs. The top has a cross banded top edge with ebony inlay & reeding on the front. The flame mahogany drawers have locks & fine dovetails. There are also some applied carvings attached to either front side.
This is a strong looking piece of furniture & would work well in a dining room, lounge or hall.
