This unusual and elegant Edwardian silver and green guilloche enamel scent bottle is hallmarked for Birmingham 1901 and was made by the renowned silversmith Henry Matthews. The cut green and clear glass pear-shaped body fitted with a silver hinged lid. The lid inset with a concentric green guilloche enamel band.
The neck fitted with the original stopper.
H.M for Henry Matthews.
Date letter "b" for 1901.
Birmingham Assay mark.
Lion passant.
Height: 7.5 cm - 3 inches.
Width: 4.5 cm - 2.6 inch.
Very good.
Minor dings to silver lid.
No loss to the enamel.
Glass body and glass neck in good condition.
