Victorian Mahogany Folding Coaching Table

19th century
Description

An attractive late 19th Century folding coaching table with X-frame legs joined by turned stretchers. The mahogany top has its original brass hinges and the locking catch below the table top is in good order.

It is in good condition for its age and the mahogany has developed a nice rich patina. There are signs of age and use, some wear and marks on the legs and light surface marks but no major damages or anything detrimental and it displays very nicely. It has been cleaned and gently polished and is ready for use.
