Late Georgian Mahogany Longcase Clock. 3 Train Movement. Circa 1835

Description

Rare late Georgian mahogany and boxwood line inlaid longcase clock with 8 day three train rolling moon movement striking on eight bells at quarters by John Eborall of Warwick (1828-42). The case all in fine original condition with just two slight cracks to bottom panel. The movement recently fully overhauling and in perfect working order. Plays two different sets of chimes on the quarters. The case a lovely rich colour with fine waxed patina. Comes with all keys. A most impressive clock.

Size; 92" high, 22" wide at hood, 10" deep.
