Description

A regal Victorian Etruscan revival brooch in a rich slightly rosy gold (looks a little more yellow in the photos). Could easily be worn as a pendant by simply hooking a chain under the pin.

The back reveals a locket enclosed in glass which contains a section of tightly basket-woven hair - it would have taken hours of meticulous work to make! If hair jewellery's not your thing the back pops out for you to hide your own treasure or personal keepsake.

In very good antique condition. There is some solder under the C clasp from a historic repair.

Marked 9C.
