Beautiful Regency era brass inlaid rosewood chiffonier side cabinet c.1820. Just 36" wide with a two tier raised back, with pierced brass gallery two small drawers, over two larger drawers and a two door cupboard fitted with a single shelf. Very well figured rosewood veneers across the top, front and sides. Superb brass inlaid fretwork and stringing to the door and drawer fronts and continued down the shaped side pilasters. Good stamp for the London cabinet makers G.Smith of Clerkenwell. Excellent condition and particularly good original colour. Cleaned and waxed in our workshops. Key supplied.
