Fine Silver Pot Pourri Pot 'clover Leaf' Birmingham 1911

A gorgeous, circular silver pot pourri pot. The Pot has a pull of lid, beautifully decorated with an pierced design in the centre comprising an art nouveau style clover leaf in the centre surrounded by leaf decoration, with beaded edge to the rim. The underside of the lid is a lovely pale lemon gilt wash. The body of the pot is a plain polished silver and a lovely slightly baluster shape. On the base underneath are the hallmarks for the Birmingham Assay Office with a date mark for 1911 and Lion Passant indicating sterling silver, along with the silver maker''s mark for William Comyns. (Partial hallmarks can also be seen on the lid).
 
 
 
A pleasing and very fine Pot, in lovely condition (no dents or marks to the silver).
