Antique Mahogany Leather Top Pedestal Desk

1900 - 1920
Description

This antique pedestal desk is really good quality & is solid mahogany, with a finished polished back. It’s in excellent condition & I would date it to around the 1910 period. It lifts apart into three sections for easy transportation. The bottom right section has a double filing drawer. All the drawers have locks & original brass swan neck handles. It has a tooled leather writing surface which is full of character with variations of colour & also provides a large working area. The kneehole space is also a generous size.

Depth – 30 inches, 76 cm

Height – 31 inches, 78 cm

Knee height – 24 inches, 61 cm

Knee width – 22 inches, 55 cm
