Marylebone Antiques has dated this piece to the 1930s.
There are no splits, tears or holes & the leather has just been professionally cleaned & polished. It’s deep buttoned all over, hand tacked & sits on turned bun feet. Please enlarge all the images to appreciate the depth of buttoning & the condition of the leather.
The deep buttoned seat, inside arms & back are all sprung with hand coil springs. It also has a good firm feel & is very comfortable.

This Chesterfield is a generous three seater & I would date it to around the 1930’s period.
We have had & will get less expensive Chesterfields around the £2000 – £2500 mark. However this particular one is much better quality than usual. For instance – They don’t usually have springs in the backs & arms.
