Early Oak Side Table.

17th century
Description

Purchased locally an interesting little oak side table probably adapted from a 17th.c. prayer lectern. 20" x 13" top with an ogee moulded edge raised on an earlier base with unusual shaped detail to the sides and stretcher, joined with lovely little double tusk tenon joints. Moulded feet and and low H stretcher. Good condition, presented as found with some earlier repairs. Simply cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
