Ebonised and Gilded Overmantle Mirror C.1860.

Description

Mid 19th.c. ebonised and parcel gilt overmantle mirror c.1860. 34" x 22" arch top mirror plate within a moulded wooden frame with original ebonised and gilded finish. Note the cross lattice detail to the gilding and the lovely hand painted stars on the inner frame. Raised on turned finial feet to stand over a fireplace or piece of furniture perhaps. Some repairs to the frame and minor spotting to the mirror. Cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
