In A Nutshell Antiques and Interiors has dated this piece to the 1930s.
It is also PAT tested for electrical safety. We would advise using a low wattage LED bulb to prevent the glass shade getting too hot.
The lamp stands approximately 19" (48cm) tall. The base is 5" (13cm) diameter and at its widest, across the glass shade, it is approximately 6" (15cm) in diameter.
It is in good condition for its age. There are no major damages, just a few small nibbles around the edge of the glass shade but nothing detrimental. The chrome has tarnished slightly in places but it has been cleaned and gently polished and displays beautifully.
