Description

Rare North East potteries, England pottery advertising child’s plate, c. 1840. The plate printed to advertise the work undertaken by a retailer of boots at various markets in Lincolnshire, and Nottinghamshire.

Inscribed ‘Presented By F. DUNN, Boot Factor. Stall in Sleaford, Spalding, Mkt. Rasen, Newark, Boston, Brigg & Retford Markets Weekly’.

All within a continuous daisy moulded border.

Medium: Earthenware

Width: 12.7 cm, 5”.

Condition: Excellent. No damage. No restoration.
