Edwardian Silver Mounted Whisky Noggin & Label 1908

This lovely SOLID SILVER MOUNTED WHISKY NOGGIN was made by the well-known silversmiths of Hukin & Heath in 1908 and comes complete with a Solid Silver Whisky Label made by Hukin & Heath in the same year.

This is a superb example of a whisky noggin in the classic star cut base design. The solid silver mount, lid and label are clearly hallmarked.

The lid of the Noggin carries an engraved family crest.

A Noggin was designed as a single serving of a drink and was either served at table or taken to bed ! This one holds approximately 50mls or a double shot which is ideal for a little tipple !!

Label – Width – 1.25” (32mm)

Condition:

All of the items we have for sale are antiques i.e. they are more than 100 years old (unless otherwise stated) and have therefore been used and preloved. As such they will have age and usage related marks. Where an item has minor faults or imperfections these are noted below.

There is no damage and no repairs.

Silver mount is slightly misaligned with glass – probably a manufacturing fault – nothing much but mentioned for accuracy.
