Wooden Long Library Book Grabber.

Description

This interesting and useful long arm library book grab which dates from the 19th Century is made of wood and has brass fittings.

This grabber would have been used in a library to reach books on high shelves or in a shop. This one is an unusually long length being 186 cm long, has a wonderful rich patina and colour and is in excellent condition.

Length: 186 cm (73 1/4") approx.

Condition: Very good used antique condition with light signs of use in keeping with age leaving a wonderful patina. The spring mechanism is in full working order and the claw at the end grabs and holds well.

Please note that only the book grabber is included and any other items in the pictures are for display only.
