The watercolour showing a bucolic scene of a shepherd in a smock, loose hat, and stocking legs, holding his crook, as he and his do take shade and rest under a large tree, as his flock of sheep graze in the distance. The picture within the original rosewood frame, with gilt slips holding the glazing.
Date circa 1820.
