Description

Antique silver pocket watch for Gittus of London.

The watch has a key-wound movement which is working nicely. The movement is protected by an inner fitted cover and then a hinged inner cover which has quite a lot of scratching where the key has slipped.

The watch measures 52mm diameter excluding the stem and the loop. The case is silver and there are Swiss hallmarks inside both of the case backs for 935 silver. The case has some unevenness around the bezel and to the case back.

The watch glass is in lovely condition.

The dial is signed with the name of the original retailer, P H Gittus, London, and it is in lovely condition.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.
