Remarkable late 19th.c. parquetry inlaid oak press or side cabinet c.1890. Two door cupboard fitted with two shelves (internal depth 16") over four useful drawers in the base. Exceptional inlaid parquetry work to the doors, drawer fronts, frame and sides in various contasting timbers (mahogany, rosewood, birdseye maple) on solid oak groundwork. Decorative brass handles and escutcheons. Some old wear and repairs, otherwise excellent condition and lovely mellow colour. Cleaned and waxed in our workshops. Key supplied.
