Royal Crown Derby Porcelain Vase Artist Signed Albert Gregory 1915

Description

A sweet Royal Crown Derby porcelain pedestal vase of campana type, set on a square socle with ornate side handles. Raised dotted bands run around the top of bottom of the main section, over gilded. In the centre of one side is a beautifully painted arrangements of flowers including a classic pink rose and forget-me-nots. On the reverse are scattered delicate insects, a butterfly, bee and bug and the concave band above this main section, flaring to the rim is also painted with small floral sprays.

Artist signed by Albert Gregory. Royal Crown Derby mark to the base and date cypher for 1915.

It measures 9.5cm (3 3/4") high, 6.8cm (2 5/8") rim to rim and 8cm (3 1/8") across the handles.

Condition is excellent with no damage or restoration and no signs of surface wear.
