Late 20th Century 5.55 Carat Aquamarine & Diamond Ring

1940 - 1960
Description

A frankly magnificent vintage aquamarine ring. The large, round centre stone displays a glowing and bright light blue, and is set atop the most impressively detailed platinum setting. Four wonderfully crafted leaves form the main part of the gallery which is set with an incredible 90 bright and white eight-cut diamonds. On a slim platinum shank.

Accompanied by an independent jewellery report from IGR (#30309283).

Cut – Round cut aquamarine and eight-cut diamonds.

Colour – The diamonds are F to G.

Clarity – The diamonds are VS2 to SI1; the aquamarine is VVS.

Carat – The aquamarine is approximately 5.55 carat with an approximate diamond weight of 1.30 carat.

Circa – 1970.

Measurements – The aquamarine is 12.1 in diameter. The ring is 17.8mm at the widest point and sits 12.8mm from the finger.

Size – P (UK) or 7.5 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can go up or down.

Metal – Platinum. Tested.
