Works attributed and by artists such as.... Attributed to William Edward Frost (1810-1877) Classically dressed maiden holding a garland of flowers in a landscape Signed and inscribed, together with a collection of mostly figurative other sketches and works on paper to include "Gypsy Fortune Teller" by FW Topham, standing male nude by Dame Ethel Walker, two pencil sketches by Sir George Hayter - "The Flower Girl" and studies of cherubs, a figure group outside an inn reputedly by David Wilkie, standing classically draped male figure in the style of Gainsborough Dupont, Style of Claude Lorrain (1600-1682) French Capriccio with Roman ruins Black ink and monochrome wash, together with a collection of sketches and works on paper to include "Tivoli", a landscape by the Rev William Gilpin, marine views, one depicting "Old Battersea Bridge", a Swiss Lake view, a landscape study with buildings reputedly by Richard Cooper Jnr, "View on the Rhine" by an anonymous hand, a study of a goat by Robert Hills, and "Craft in a faint breeze" by Sir Augustus Wall Calcott, Syyle of JMW Turner etc........Some very interesting items.
