Description
This is a delightful silver and guilloche enamel small dressing table or rouge pot. It was made by Henry Clifford Davis who produced numerous guilloche enamel vanity items and is dated Birmingham 1928. The sliced-cut circular glass body with an exquisitely decorated pale lilac guilloche enamel and silver lid. The inner lid gilt. Fitted on the clear glass base. Hallmarks: H.C.D for Henry Clifford Davis. Birmingham Assay mark. Lion Passant. Date letter "D" for 1928. Condition: Very good. The enamel is in very good condition.
