Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.
Antiques are the ultimate green purchase. By choosing historical pieces over newly manufactured goods, you completely eliminate the carbon footprint of modern mass production while preserving exceptional, timeless craftsmanship.

A Regency wine table is a small, portable accent table produced during the early 19th century in Britain. Originally designed to hold wine glasses, decanters, or candles, these tables typically feature a pedestal column supported by a tripod base.

Craftsmen predominantly utilized dense hardwoods such as mahogany and rosewood. These pieces often feature turned central columns, hand-carved decorative trim such as beading or gadrooning, and solid timber legs joined via traditional dovetail or block mechanisms.

Authentic period pieces show distinct hand-cut joinery beneath the tabletop, natural unevenness from historic hand-planing, and deep grain contrast characteristic of aged rosewood. Original tripod legs often feature brass castors, pad feet, or subtle scrollwork fitted directly into the central pedestal.

An antique wine table serves well as an accent piece alongside contemporary upholstery, such as next to a sofa or reading chair. Its compact footprint allows it to function as a lamp stand, plant pedestal, or surface for books in modern living spaces.

Keep rosewood furniture away from direct sunlight and heat sources to prevent the wood from drying out or fading. Apply a high-grade beeswax polish occasionally using a soft cloth, buffing gently along the grain, and avoid chemical cleansers.
