A stunning example of a Victorian combined baby rattle with exquisite repousse decoration with seven bells and the whistle in perfect working order.

The handle is made from bright and bold Coral, with a lovely glossy patina.

The silver is clearly hallmarked for Birmingham 1885, a good early example including the Queen Victoria's Head Mark and the makers mark H & T for Hilliard & Thomason.

A highly collectible and sought-after heirloom to be handed through the generations.

Excellent condition measuring 3 1/2" long.
