Art Deco Mappin & Webb Silver Ice Bucket and Tongs.

Description

This excellent quality silver plate ice bucket which dates from c1930 is by renowned maker Mappin & Webb. This ice bucket has a stylish ring design with a top swing handle and comes with a pair of silver plated William Suckling bird claw ice tongs so this is a wonderful barware item that will look very nice on display and a stylish way to serve ice at your get together.

Marked to base: Mappin & Webb. London & Sheffield. Mappin Plate. 29496.

Size of pail:

Height not including handle: 13.5 cm (5 1/4") approx.

Condition: Excellent used vintage condition with only light signs of use in keeping with age. Silver plate in very good condition with only light surface scratches and a few small marks. The inside is clean with a few spots/marks.
