Superb Antique Victorian Fold Over Games Table and Work Box and dating from around 1880. It has a serpentine shaped top which folds over to reveal a superb Games Table inlaid with burr walnut, ebony, mahogany and fruitwood. This is above a single drawer with various compartments and over a sliding deep box for wools and cottons etc. The front of the drawer and box are inlaid with fine satinwood. It is raised on turned supports on carved and scrolled legs on castors and joined by turned stretchers.

MEASURES: 29” HIGH X 16.5” DEEP X 21” WIDE

With a lovely deep colour and patination and oozing all the charm and character of the period. Our furniture is cleaned and polished using traditional waxing methods.
