Silver Plate & Mock Croc Leather Spirit Hip Flask by James Dixon & Sons.

Description

This handsome antique spirit hip flask which is by renowned silversmith James Dixon & Sons has the outer of the top half covered in brown crocodile effect leather, a sight level on both sides, a hinged flip / bayonet top which is tight and seals well with no leaks and a detachable silver plated cup which has a gilt interior.

This high quality flask which is a nice handy size has a wonderful tactile feel, holds 3/16 pt and is in in excellent usable condition.

Marks: Maker's mark of JD&S and trumpet mark for James Dixon & Sons to both the collar and cup. Marked 3/16 Pt and EP to the cup.

Total weight: 246 grams.

A nice clean flask by a good quality maker that would make a wonderful gift. Comes in a new gift box.
