The telescopic handle is what makes these a rare and unusual find, The handle when pushed in can be turned to a vertical twelve O'clock position and then removed; they can be then replaced when required.
They come complete with a pouch.
Dating to c.1900, they remain in excellent working condition. 4" x 1 1/2" x 2 1/4" expanding to 2 7/8"; the handle measures 7 3/4" while fully extended.
