A fine oil on board painting of an alpine scene depicting Chillon Castle on Lake Geneva, Switzerland. The work is competently done but not signed and as this was probably a commercial work for tourists that is not surprising. The painting is in excellent condition having been professionally cleaned and retains the original elaborate gilt frame. The whole is in ready to hang condition. Please note there is some light reflection on the texture of the paint in the photos it is not on the work itself.
