Description

Impressively proportioned late 19th.c mahogany partner’s type pedestal desk c.1890. 60" x 47" desk top with a tooled dark tan leather work surface and moulded edge over three drawers to both sides. Raised on twin pedestals with three drawers of graduated depth to one side and cupboards to the other, with a large kneehole between (height 24"). The desk can be configured to have one set of drawers and one cupboard to each side if preferred. Moulded drawer fronts with superb quality original brass handles. Reeded detail to the uprights, panelled sides and moulded plinths raised on quality brass and ceramic castors. Solid mahogany drawer linings. Excellent condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops. Keys supplied to fit all the drawers and cupboards.
