1924 Silver Omega Pocket Watch

1924 silver Omega pocket watch.

The watch has a stem-winding movement, calibre 19LB, which is working nicely. The movement is fully signed with the Omega name and the serial number 5,653,674 dates it back to the early 1920s. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover which has slight unevenness.

The watch measures 49mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is silver and there are hallmarks inside the two case backs for Birmingham 1924 with a case maker's mark for Aaron Dennison. The Dennison Watch Case Company was a Birmingham based case manufacturer who supplied various watch makers. The case is in good condition, just some age related rubbing to the engine turned detail on the back of the watch.

The watch glass is in good condition, just a little nibbling around the bevelled edge.

The signed dial is in lovely condition. Blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and outer minute markers.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.
