Description

A fine and rare Richard Chaffers, Liverpool porcelain coffee cup and cover, c. 1758. The thinly potted and elegant small sized pot, hand painted in vibrant enamels, with flowering plants, amongst rocks, and a fence, in Chinese famille rose style.

Having a ‘S’ scroll spout, and simple handle. The cover similarly decorated to the pot, and surmounted by a teardrop finial.

Condition - Excellent. No damage. No restoration.
