Dutch Indonesian Oil on Board, signed and dated, Nic(olas) Vos ,IV (Sept)(19)41. Nic Vos was a Dutch/Indonesian artist, born in 1907, who was part of a Dutch/German group of artists in Indonesia, incl. Bali, in the first half of the 20th century. This painting has numerous information on the reverse, all in the original handwriting of the artist in three languages, also claiming that the picture frame was made in the artist's studio. The picture and subject is titled "Bedehuis a/d Tjisadane-BZO". Measurement of outside frame ca 48 cm x 42 cm.
