Lovely and sturdy, this highly decorative cast-iron planter has been painted a soft, light grey. It features interwoven wheat, vine leaves, and grapes throughout. The bulbous, curved shape is not unlike that of a commode, the flooring and edging undulates in a wave form. It has a whole in the bottom for drainage and raised on small rounded feet. The underside has signs of rust, otherwise it survives in very nice condition.
With or without planting it is a very handsome piece.
Please note this is very heavy (approx. 60 kg.) so carriage might be expensive.
