Art Deco 0.95 Carat Old Cut Diamond Drop Earrings, Circa 1920

Description

A stunning and beautifully crafted pair of Art Deco diamond earrings. The earrings are formed in four articulated parts; at the top are the fish-hook wires, leading to a solid panel with triangular detailing and set with four eight-cut diamonds, to a stylised “V” featuring a further seven eights cut, and, at the base, with a larger, rubover set old cut diamond. Just wonderful.

Accompanied by an independent jewellery report by IGR (#30309065).

Cut – The larger two drops are old cuts, with eight-cuts in the main body of the earrings.

Colour – F to H.

Clarity – VS1 to SI1; all the stones are clean to the naked eye.

Carat – The combined weight of the large diamonds at the bottom is approximately 0.62, with a total approximate carat weight of 0.95 carat.

Circa – 1920.

Measurements – Not including the hooks, the earrings are 22mm long and 9mm at the widest point.

Metal – Platinum. Tested.
