Description

Very handsome Regency rosewood sofa table c.1820. Beautifully figured top in solid rosewood with two folding leaves supported on hinged loafers. Over two oak lined drawers, the veneered fronts and original brass knobs repeated as dummy drawers on the rear of the table. Raised on a superb broad reeded column with a flared base. Rosewood veneered plinth, turned bun feet and white ceramic castors. Some old wear to the top, generally excellent condition and particularly good colour, cleaned and polished in our workshops.
