Henry Earp, British 1831-1914 . Henry Earp was head of a famous family of Brighton artists. He worked predominantly in watercolour. He is best known for his painting of cattle and landscapes. He exhibited widely at the Royal Institute for Painters in Watercolour, Royal Society of British Artists, Walker Gallery Liverpool and Manchester City Art Gallery. As well is being head of a dynasty of painters, Henry was cousin to the famous US Marshall Wyatt Earp. Earp is a well collected artist and his work is represented in many important collections including, Herbert Art Gallery, Brighton & Hove Galleries
