Description
This is a delightful and rather unusual Art Nouveau sterling silver pin cushion. Of circular form, the solid silver base with a pull-off pierced silver lid housing a treen and velvet cushion. The lid pierced with a very decorative floral frieze. Both base and lid fully hallmarked. The interior of the base with satin lining. Hallmarks: HBA for Batson & Son (Henry John Batson & Albert Edward Batson) London Assay mark. Date letter "s" for 1913 Lion Passant. Dimensions: Diameter: 6cm / 2.4 inches. Height: 5cm / 2 inches.
