David Pickett Antiques has dated this piece to the 19th Century.
The Coat of Arms bears the Latin phrase 'pandite coelestes portae' meaning 'Open ye heavenly gates'.

There is a rubbed mark to base, possibly for the Bell for Roberts Smith and Co.
The pieces are seamed to stems with good clean lines and removable sconces. The pieces are very large and very impressive.

Condition is overall very good with slight copper bleed to marks on base and the odd bump and nick. Largely in great condition and plating is generally excellent.

Span approx 46cm.
