Antique Late Victorian Gothic Carved Oak Lion Mask Sideboard C1890

Antique Late Victorian Gothic Carved Oak Lion Mask Sideboard and dating from around 1890. It has a low gallery back and moulded edge to the top above two carved panelled doors with carved lion masks to the centre and original brass handles. Internally is a single shelf to one side and to the other side is an oak lined drawer with brass handle above storage space. It has a carved Lunette frieze to the base and with carved lions head masks to the top of each side. It is raised on turned cup and cover legs on a block foot joined by squared stretchers.

MEASURES: 40” TO GALLERY TOP X 37” HIGH X 20.5” DEEP X 41.5” WIDE

With a lovely deep colour and patination and oozing all the charm and character of the period. Our furniture is cleaned and polished using traditional waxing methods.
