A fabulous example of a late Victorian butter dish made from solid English Oak in the form of a pail with a handle to either side and an impressive tiered lid topped with a figural cow.

The lid removed to remove the original ceramic liner intact and in very good, clean condition.

Dating to c.1890 it remains in superb condition. 6 1/4" handle to handle x 6 1/4" x 4" to top of cow.
