Antique Bronzed Spelter Bust of a Moorish Man

Large antique painted bronzed spelter bust of a Moorish man, nicely aged & in good original condition.

I believe this piece dates to around the 1890-1910 period & I think it’s possibly French. The details are really sharp & the mans face shows great character.

It’s very impressive with some lovely detail & nicely aged. It certainly looks like bronze, but I think it’s probably spelter.
