Description

Fine late George III period mahogany bow-fronted chest of drawers stamped Gillows of Lancaster; the fronts of the four drawers with finely matched and coloured flare veneers, on splayed legs and with a reeded edge to the top. The drawers partly lined with, probably original, blue paper and with old, but later, brass ring-handles. Circa 1815

We deal in 18th and early 19th century furniture, barometers and clocks. We choose our stock for its originality and for the quality of its colour, patination and design.

We are members of the BADA. We do not exhibit at fairs preferring to deal from our Cambridge shop where we hold an Open Weekend usually every November.

Open 9.00am – 5.00pm, Tuesday to Friday, 10.00am - 4.00pm on Saturday. A prior phone call or email before visiting is always a good idea and we are happy to be contacted outside of business hours.
