Good quality Victorian rosewood double sided reading table. The unusual mechanism allows the top to move slide to sit over a bed or chair. The height is adjustable via a turned rosewood knob and the 2 reading slopes retain the original book rests and angle adjustments. The base having hexagonal shaped column leading to a shaped platform with turned bun feet with hidden casters. The sliding top lends this table for other uses when not reading.
