We are led to understand this could well be from South Africa, it is certainly not a style we have seen before. The corners have the most attractive cabriole scroll design and the longer faces have the nicely turned detail, all this sits on ball and claw feet. The woodwork is in great condition and the seat has been reupholstered with the close studded edge. The studding has been done correctly not that nasty cheap strip many people seem to use these days.
