Description

Very classy looking set of six Georgian style Cockpen type dining chairs c.1930. Four chairs plus two matching carvers. Solid mahogany frames with superb lattice work backs featuring highly figured flame mahogany veneers to the fronts. Curving arms with swept supports to the carvers. Over loose seat pads (seat height 17") upholstered in a pale sand coloured velvet chenille and set within moulded rails. Raised on square front legs, reeded at the front and sides and joined to the seat with fine pierced brackets, also repeated at the sides of the rear stiles. Superb colour and excellent condition with very clean covers. Cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
