Description

Beautiful late 19th.c. walnut pembroke work table c.1870. Oval top featuring highly figured burr walnut veneers and moulded edges, with two D shaped folding leaves supported on hinged loafers at the sides. Over two slim drawers and a deep pullout work basket below. Burr walnut veneered drawer fronts with moulded edges, repeated as dummy drawer fronts on the rear of the table. Raised on long slim cabriole legs in solid walnut with crisply carved detail and retaining the original brass castors. Some minor wear to the top, generally excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
