Gents 9ct gold Waltham wrist watch, 1930.

The watch has a seven jewel hand-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement has nicely patterned plates and it is fully signed and has the serial number 27,236,106 which dates it back to around 1930.

The watch measures 31mm wide excluding the winding crown and 31mm high excluding the lugs. The case is 9 carat gold and there are hallmarks inside the case back for Birmingham 1933 with a case maker's mark for Aaron Dennison... the Dennison Watch Case Company, a English concern, made the majority of cases for Waltham UK. There is a some marking and a little unevenness but overall very acceptable for such an early piece.

The lens is in good condition.

The signed dial is in good condition with blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.

A later leather strap has been fitted.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.
